Microneedling is an advanced, minimally invasive treatment designed to improve the overall health, texture, and appearance of your skin.

Using a precision-controlled medical device, microscopic channels are created within the skin. This process stimulates the body’s natural healing response, encouraging the production of collagen and elastin—two essential components responsible for smooth, firm, and youthful-looking skin.

As the skin remodels over time, you can expect improvements in tone, texture, and overall radiance.

Microneedling is an effective treatment for:

  • acne scarring

  • fine lines around the eyes and lips

  • enlarged pores

  • scars

  • stretch marks

  • overall skin rejuvenation

What is the treatment like?

Your treatment will begin with an in depth consultation to determine whether microneedling is the right option for you. A numbing cream may be placed on the treatment area to enhance your comfort. The treatment area will be thoroughly cleansed with anti bacterial solution to minimize the risk of infection.

During the procedure, a sterile single-use disposable tip, is gently passed over the skin. Most clients describe the sensation as a light vibration with minimal discomfort.

What will my skin look and feel like after a treatment?

Immediately following your treatment your skin will appear pink to red, similar to a mild sunburn. The following day the redness dissipates and you will be able to return to your normal activities and apply make-up. Your skin may feel tight and itchy as the healing continues over the next few days. Pre- and post- treatment skin care regimes will be discussed during your consultation.

When will I see results?

Many clients notice an improvement in skin texture and radiance within the first few weeks following treatment. However, because microneedling works by stimulating collagen production, results continue to develop as the skin remodels over the next 6-12 months. The benefits gained by enhancing the skin’s collagen and elastin will remain for years. The number of treatments recommended can range from 3-6 depending on the area and condition being treated.

Microneedling vs other resurfacing Treatments?

The results from medical microneedling and fractional laser resurfacing are similar, but the process and side effects are very different. Unlike lasers, microneedling is safe to use on most skin types. The minimal downtime of a microneedling treatment makes it ideal for busy clients who wish to quickly return to their normal activities.
